Youth Watercolor Painting Camp

Service Description

Learn the mysteries of the most meditative and surprising painting medium. We’ll engage with various applications and techniques ranging from watercolor journaling, studio painting and presentation, and sketching from observation. Our lessons integrate material exploration, light science and physics, and a deep imaginative practice. Multiple paintings will be completed per day. Each student will leave with a watercolor pan set, a watercolor sketchbook, and a stack of completed watercolor paintings. Students learn techniques, materials, safety, and process. Weather permitting, painting outside will be possible. Aprons will be provided, but painting appropriate clothing recommended, as we may get a little messy. Lunch and snacks included with camp registration. Recommended Ages: Rising 4th graders - Rising 9th graders. Inquiries welcome.
